Riot Fest Announces Exciting 2025 Lineup
The beloved Chicago-based music event, Riot Fest, known for its emphasis on punk and rock genres, has officially announced its lineup for the year 2025. Music giants such as Blink-182, Weezer, and Green Day are set to headline the festival. Other top acts include Jack White, Idles, and a version of the Sex Pistols led by Frank Carter. The festivities are scheduled to take place in Douglass Park from September 19 to September 21. Details of the event can be seen on the newly released festival poster.
The roster for 2025 features a broad spectrum of artists, including the Pogues, Rilo Kiley, Jawbreaker, Idles, Alkaline Trio, the Beach Boys, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Sparks, Knocked Loose, Bad Religion, the Damned, the Hold Steady, the Wonder Years, Texas Is the Reason, Dropkick Murphys, Ovlov, Panchiko, Buzzcocks, the Linda Lindas, Dehd, Militarie Gun, Citizen, Superchunk, Touché Amoré, Helmet, Lambrini Girls, Agnostic Front, Samiam, and Shonen Knife, among others.
Celebrating 20 Years of Riot Fest
This year is particularly special as it marks the 20th anniversary of Riot Fest. The lineup indicates a reunion of sorts with several past headliners and fan favorites making a comeback. Although no specific full album performances have been announced yet, the festival has historically featured unique sets where artists perform one of their albums in its entirety.
