Jason Isaacs Says to Fans ‘The White Lotus’ On-Set Drama Is ‘None of Your Business’: ‘Nobody Has Any Clue’

Following the conclusion of Season 3 of “The White Lotus,” Jason Isaacs has addressed rumors of tension during filming.

“It’s like any summer getaway – there are new friendships, budding romances, disputes, and groups that come together and fall apart. I’m cautious,” Isaacs commented on the April 9 broadcast of SiriusXM’s “The Happy Hour.” “I’m not oblivious. I keep up with what’s being said online.”

Isaacs previously told Vulture that the filming atmosphere was akin to “a mix of summer camp and ‘Lord of the Flies’ within a luxurious trap.” Additionally, Mike White expressed dissatisfaction with the show’s composer following a disagreement about the season’s score.

“People are completely out of the loop,” Isaacs remarked. “Those who think they have an inside scoop end up being echoed by hundreds, yet they’re really clueless.”

In clarifying his statements to Vulture, Isaacs stated: “Firstly, it’s not anyone else’s concern. I brought it up because there’s a misconception that we were on a seven-month vacation, but it was definitely demanding work. The heat was intense, and the usual social dynamics played out just like they do elsewhere.”

Isaacs previously made news in an interview on “CBS Mornings” discussing the “double standard for men” concerning questions about full-frontal nudity. “Conversely, when it comes to actresses like Margaret Qualley in ‘The Substance,’ no one would consider inquiring about her private parts or other personal aspects,” he explained.

He later clarified his remarks to The Bangin Beats: “I misspoke. The phrase ‘double standard’ was a poor choice of words that didn’t convey what I meant.”
