Talk about dealing with a packed weekend and Jack Ü will show you exactly how it’s done. The dance music supergroup made up of Skrillex and Diplo dropped down in the UK for a set of shows which marked their debut appearance in the country.
Taking over the NME / BBC Radio 1 stage at the annual Readings Festival on Friday, the powerhouse duo did absolute justice to their headlining spot as they catered to the fans with a massive set which consisted of adrenaline filled tunes, both old and new. But on a special note, their latest set became even more memorable when they closed down with a brand new tune in collaboration with Florence And The Machine. Initially teased back in March, their forthcoming track, “Constellation” is a future bass piece which weaves in the singer’s vocals in phenomenal fashion. With no further details on the release, stay tuned and make sure to stream the monumental set below.
Moreover, Sonny Moore also took to Twitter to announce that fans were treated to the last set of Jack Ü festival shows for 2016 and won’t return for a “long, long time”. Hence, what does this mean for the star acts? While we already know that Diplo is heavily involved with the preparation for Major Lazer‘s upcoming album, it looks like we might have new music by Jack Ü or Skrillex himself in the near future.
