The iconic 90’s electronic music producer Moby has carved out a well-established place for himself in the music scene, with memories of his sound constantly coming up to keep it fresh. In a recent tribute to this veteran, UK dance music maestros Above & Beyond have offered up their remix of one of his most famous jams: ‘Porcelain’.
In keeping with the trio’s distinctive style, this remix is a clever amalgamation of the classic with the current. Kicking things off with an uplifting intro, Above & Beyond surround this track with a dreamy vibe, as it neatly fuses soft and melodic piano work with addictive and shiny synth play, remaining ethereal as it progresses only to cascade into an infectiously energetic breakdown, providing that signature Above & Beyond twist to this 90’s classic.
