Attacks on DJs are usually a rare phenomenon. More so when they’re playing live, but unfortunately they do happen. Dillon Francis got attacked in 2014, when apparently a “fan” threw a can of RC cola at him, hitting him on his head, which required him to get stitches.
In the latest string on such unfortunate incidences, American DJ EPROM was attacked by a crazed fan during his set at Shambhala Music Festival. Talking about the attack on his Instagram account, he recalls he was playing his set when a crazed fan, who was under the influence of drugs, rushed the stage, tackled and punched him to the ground, put him in a choke hold and started biting him, until Zeke Beats helped him.
Fortunately, EPROM did not encounter any serious injuries from the attack, but did leave the Instagram post on a lighter note.
Watch out for zombie attacks out there kids.
Last night while playing my set I was attacked on stage by a crazed fan who was apparently under the influence of some strong drugs. He rushed the stage, decked me to the ground, put me in a choke hold and started biting my head. I managed to get him off with the help of @zeke_beats, thanks bro.
