Their latest offering – the Got EP consists of two tracks – ‘Got Groove’ and ‘Got Drums’
‘Got Groove’ is a funky, bass line ridden composition, laced with polished percussion and a captivating vocal sample. The bass line makes the track punchy, yet immersive. This combination with the sub kick ensures a very after-hours kind of atmosphere. Snare rhythms drive solid progressions towards an overall breakdown that is heavy with bass line grooves. When you listen to this track, you’ve no choice but to get up and dance.
Another accurately named track, ‘Got Drums’ is a pulsing tech-house hymn with plunging bass lines, uncluttered hi hats, and myriad varieties of drum patterns. Additional eerie sonic effects and persistent snares weave in and out. A solid two-track release, the Got EP by Prok & Fitch is a home run.
