Deadmau5 Drops New Track 'No Problem', And Releases A Massive Splice Sample Pack

deadmau5 has certainly been busy since the past few weeks or (months). Let’s just say the man has been hard at work, dishing out new tracks and WIPs onto his SoundCloud every now and then. Moreover, the living legend has been making some massive festival experiences alongside appearing as a special guest on his label’s own mau5hax Bus Tour. All done and dusted, Joel is now back in the studio sitting pretty and working on tons of new music, or so it seems.

Following his recent uploads which consisted of a rare collaborative effort with ATTLAS for ‘Bad at Titles‘ and an unorthodox trip-hop record ‘Snowcone‘, his latest is a electro-infused gem. Titled ‘No Problem‘ because of very legit reasons, as per one Reddit thread, the mau5trap boss’ Ableton crashed midway during the track’s creation. And despite facing a significant loss, he managed to recreate his initial effort once more and even managed to surpass his original by clocking a 7-minute monster the second time around. Hence, the name.

Hold up, as deadmau5 has more to offer to his followers and fans! Joel has released a massive sample pack called Chimaera, which consists of 110 MIDI melodies and 73 kick drum samples and is a result of what he denotes as him “fucking around in the studio” for over six years. A completely royalty-free offering that will help budding producers to sample the classic deadmau5 sounds with ease, the entire pack is available for download on Splice which you can grab here.
