DVBBS Arrested On Drug Charges After Two Girls Founds Unconscious In The Duo's Dressing Room

News started emerging last night about two girls being found unconscious in DVBBS‘ dressing room at Hungary’s Balaton Sound music festival. The two girls, who were spotted in the front row during the Canadian duo’s set, were invited backstage to hangout with ‘Tsunami‘ hitmakers, and were found unconscious later that night, after DVBBS had already left for the airport. Festival officials confirmed that the girls had to accompanied by the artists to go backstage.

Following the incident, one of the girl’s mother filed a police report, which led to DVBBS‘ arrest at the Ferihegy Airport for drug possession, after a suspicious substance was found in a drug screening. However, DVBBS cleared themselves from any wrongdoing, claiming they had nothing to do with the unconscious girls. Responding to an inquiry from Hungarian internet portal Index, the duo said:

We are shocked that some attendees of the Balaton Festival (sic) were victims of events which got them hospitalized. Police asked our cooperation for the investigation and of course we did what we could. Police confirmed there isn’t any link between us and what happened, that’s why we took off a couple of hours later to our next gig in ibiza. There is another case going on independently from this in connection with marijuana and we gladly answer all questions regarding this and help the police to solve the case. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. Alex and Chris (DVBBS).

DVBBS‘ upcoming performance at the Sziget Festival was cancelled too, a consequence of the incidents that took place.
