
Big news coming in. Following the major announcement of a scheduled B2B performance between deadmau5 and Eric Prydz at Tomorrowland this year which caused ripples across the electronic music community, the living legends plan to cause some ruckus one more time!
The recently concluded Ultra Music Festival in Miami had lots of surprises in store, especially a highly anticipated performance by the mau5trap bossman himself on the legendary ASOT Stage. Having nailed it in extraordinary fashion, he joined Armin Van Buuren for a short interview on his A State Of Trance radio show. When the topic of his upcoming set with Eric was put forth, Joel quoted that they plan to do a LIVE set. Given, the two will be sharing one of the biggest festival stages that this world has to offer, it will be a true landmark performance. Deadmau5 continued as he hinted at plans to rent out a studio for a couple weeks in Belgium to prepare and give Eric a rundown of their unique live performance.
When asked about a possible Twitch livestream of their studio sessions by Armin himself, his reply sounded more than convincing when he said, “Yeah, for sure. We could do that”. Now, check out the brief interview below while we keep our fingers crossed for this wonderful idea to come to life.
