As we all have come to know in the past twelve months, mysterious producer/DJ Marshmello has been running rampant with his fluffy bass oriented sounds who stole the limelight in 2015. Having showcased his eclectic production skills with an array of diverse originals and remixes, the #mellogang leader has been one of the hottest topics surrounding the electronic music industry for quite some time now.
Now, as far as his identity goes, we all have respected the fact how music comes before the person responsible for it. And, if someone wishes to keep at it, it needs to be honored. But amidst all the fan theories that have been doing the rounds online to uncover his identity which have even gone on to suggest that marshmello is the moniker of several artists such as Skrillex and even Martin Garrix, the latest piece of evidence does seem to be more compelling out of the lot!
Being signed to Red Light Management that includes a roster consisting of Ookay, Dotcom, JAUZ, Sikdope and Slushii, there have been claims which indicate someone from their squad to be the key to the mystery. Now what the latest theory suggests is that Dotcom is Marshmello. Before we question Why?, let’s face the facts. Neither have both of these artists ever been in the same room, nor has Sikdope released new material in the past 7 months or so. Coincidence?
In a latest attempt by a fan to prove the theory, the two pics showcased below speak for themselves. The tattoo on Sikdope‘s right thigh is the same which seems to be on marshmello‘s(glimpses of it). Now, that we’ve peaked your interest. Here’s one more!
Sikdope is the moniker of Chris Comstock which if you would fondly remember saw a roll call by Skrillex himself during the latter’s insightful interview with Katie Couric where Sonny talked about the alleged mysterious producer “Chris” after he got a call from him.
