Diplo Calls Out Zedd On Twitter, Deadmau5 Jumps In

Late last night, Twitter hosted yet another episode of some ruthless social media tirade. In the 21st century, where fights are carried out with Twitter fingers, mega-producer/DJ Diplo took to the platform to call out Zedd over his recent collaboration with M&Ms to recreate their original theme ‘Candyman‘.

A future-bass influenced track accompanied by the vocals of Aloe Blacc, it managed to draw mixed reception from the audience given the unconventional direction the German producer had taken. While some applauded his latest effort, it seems the Mad Decent boss had other things in mind.

Now looking at things from another perspective, we all know as artists, criticism is part and parcel of the game, but in an absolute grand fashion like this, a bit too heavy don’t you think? Thanks to Zedd, the ‘Clarity‘ star didn’t wait to hurl back at Diplo which you can check out below.

Wait. Hold up! Where’s the fun in a Twitter beef without having an insightful input from the troll master himself. As you might have guessed, deadmau5 couldn’t keep himself from the action as he had a few things to say of his own.

Now, while there’s no definite outcome which came out of the short-lived yet dramatic beef, one thing is certain that Diplo continues to stress on the fact of his position as a mega producer in the industry and his renowned credibility, per say.

diplo-just-keeps-going  As Wesley Pentz continued to roll out comments over Anton, this last one might have just fired it up. With the entire frenzy revolving around the pop agenda that electronic music has pushed itself towards, deadmau5, as usual didn’t shy away to take shots at Diplo and his recent pop-oriented direction.
