Famed electronic music producer Zedd is finally back! With a successful 2015 in the bag which saw the release of his sophomore album True Colors and an even more spectacular follow-up tour, the German prodigy is all set to switch things up.
Taking up the job to re-imagine “The Candyman”, the theme soundtrack of M&Ms sees a 2016-ready overhaul with a vocal effort provided by Aloe Blacc, from Avicii‘s “Wake Me Up” fame. A remarkable new direction in terms of production, Zedd takes on the future bass route to produce a light and bass-friendly rework as lush synths and a trap-reminiscent snare underline the score. Moreover, star producer also credited upcoming talents Grey and Joe Trapanese quoting on SoundCloud:
“Huge shout out to my dawgs Grey and Joe Trapanese who helped me record this record! ”.
Considering Anton’s musical talents, the Clarity hit maker clearly knows how to create a radio-friendly yet festival efficient piece at the same time! Check out “Candyman” below and grab the single here!
