The supremely talented Skream has dropped ‘This Love’ on his Soundcloud. It is far from the customary techno that you’re used to, more akin to a techno ballad. It’s melodic; it’s breezy, but hectic – all at the same time. It’s got a substantial, 909-driven foundation and myriad eccentric synths. And all of it sounds brilliant.
There’s also a message along with the download. Skream says that he “made this last summer. Been doing some damage and been getting asked quite a bit what it is, so I thought I’d share.”
While there’s no official news regarding the release, for now, fans can just put those headphones on and get their minds blown. Just hit play:
