Dance music legend Paul Oakenfold has teamed up with Fox and production company TV4 Entertainment to bring a brand new awards show dedicated entirely to dance music.
The awards show, named Electronic Music Awards & Foundation, will be a red carpet event that will feature some of the biggest names in the industry, ranging from artists to executives, and will feature live performances and award presentations. The categories of the award will include Album of the Year, Single of the Year, DJ of the Year, Radio Show of the Year, People’s Choice Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Best New Artist, Club of the Year and Festival of the Year.
Set to be directed by Russell Thomas, who is known for his work with MTV EMAs, the awards show will be broadcast on April 23 on Fox.
