Italian techno maestro Luigi Madonna has slowly emerged as a force to be reckoned with. Having being a staple name at some of the finest clubs and techno gatherings over the world, here are Luigi Madonna‘s Top 5 #Bangin’ Tracks in anticipation of his Dimension RED India Tour which kicks off later this week.

Summer Sensation

The title track of Luigi Madonna‘s massive EP Summer Sensation holds a special place for many reasons. Not only did it find home on Richie Hawtin and John Acquaviva’s legendary Plus 8 Records but also became the track which cemented his place in the minimal techno industry. Backed by a heavy kick and percussion work, this one does the trick with some spawned synth sounds and classic techno percussion which lead the way to an eargasmic and bouncy peak time concoction.

7 Swords

One of Italian maestro’s highly acclaimed tracks, “7 Swords” will forever remain a timeless classic. The seminal single was deservingly part of Drumcode‘s The Napoli Connection compilation featuring heavyweights like Joseph Capriati, Sasha Carassi, Rino Cerrone and Markantonio. With the track making use of some incredible percussion work, the groove takes over with this one.

Fuencarral

The concluding track from Luigi’s Summer Sensation EP, Fuencarral speaks volumes about Plus 8 Recordings’ sound it has successfully represented over the years. Driven by a rapid bassline, this one still feels way ahead of it game owing to futuristic techno styles. A classic in itself, the track tends to repeat chaos as it progresses to build up even further.

Reset

“Reset” weaves a hypnotic story but is equally vicious at the same time. From the moment you press play, this one blows it up with its thumping beat while being equally buoyed by a dark yet futuristic groove. Released back in 2011 on Rekluse, this one still manages to send the crowd into a tizzy.

Primo

One of Italian techno chef’s more recent offerings, Primo is the namesake of his EP which found a release of Adam Beyer‘s Drumcode label in 2013. A quintessential techno production, this one is a secret weapon to further heat up the peak time chaos in the clubs. With pounding kicks and some absolutely wicked synth stabs, this one has been a recent staple in his sets. Keep an ear out for this one!
