Darren Styles – Come Running (Mija Remix) [Free Download]

LA based producer Mija has been on a steady rise ever since the world was treated to her debut track “Crank It” with Ghastly back in late 2014. The turquoise haired talent backed by Skrillex and his OWSLA imprint, made a mark in 2015 by performing around the world alongside Sonny and some of the biggest artists in the industry. Switching back to production mode, she shows off her latest work in the form of a delightful remix for UK hardcore heavyweight, Darren Styles‘ classic single “Come Running”.

The happy hardcore original goes for a spin as Mija slows things down turning those 4/4 beats into something more vibey. With heavenly vocals intact, Amber uses stadium sized synths, euphoric melodies and some skillful percussion work to create a rare gem. Amber also talked about the remix saying,

“I literally grew up listening to happy hardcore and worshiping producers like Darren Styles, Sy & Unknown, Sharkey etc. So I was on Twitter the other week asking for hhc acapellas and Darren actually hit me back/sent me a care package (tried not to fan girl too hard but like sorry). I’ve been in LA almost all month writing, so making this remix was so easy/fun and just felt really organic. I think happy hardcore is so punk rock and it’s sick to finally see it making waves in the USA. s/o Darren ur the real MVP.”
