Electronic music prodigy Martin Garrix had a massive 2015 which needs no further explanation. Taking off from the festival stage, Martin recently made an appearance on Dutch radio channel 538. Interestingly, the interaction served as a good platform for the “Animals” star to go in-depth about the dynamics of his music production and provide his fans with a small session rather than a normal Q&A.
Just like Flux Pavilion‘s slick masterclass a few days ago, Garrix shows his impeccable skills in the video as his creativity booms through with a quick melody and bass line set in place in a matter of minutes. However, rather than displaying the whole process, the video is skipped to the part where he almost has a complete draft ready. Going into details, he says,
“Ideas come to me real fast… but before I finish a track, 20 to 30 hours will have passed.”
