Richie Hawtin‘s beloved project, ENTER. became one of the highlights of Ibiza over the past 4 years, with Hawtin’s annual residency at Space seeing him bring some of the finest and technical proficient DJs around the world for his showcase.
However, the Canadian DJ and producer has decided to move on from Ibiza, to explore newer territories and expand ENTER. as a global brand. Richie Hawtin announced the decision on his Facebook page, citing the need to take the “next step” for the development of ENTER., adding that “ENTER. will continue to explore site specific events around the world based upon our core principles: Music. Sake. Technology. Experience.”
Hawtin has hosted ENTER. at many a festivals, including Escape All Hallow’s Eve in Los Angeles, and Creamfields in Buenos Aires, and this decision to move away from Ibiza certainly opens up newer vistas for both Hawtin and ENTER.’s global expansion.
