Watch This : Deadmau5 Elaborates Upon His Twitter Feuds

In the latest edition of deadmau5‘s  Twitch stream, Joel ended up giving an extensive speech and touched topics which ranged from his Twitter feuds, his problems with the 140 character limit (The struggle is real) and basically everything to justify his recent actions.

The video was managed to uploaded by a user which began as a discussion of a movie The Zero Theorem and was telling his viewers to ignore the ratings of the same. The whole conversation took a massive turn as he went on to criticize the mainstream rating system and started pitching that if guys like Justin Bieber and Zac Efron can get top notch ratings, then it makes no sense. The mau5‘s opinion about it is absolutely legitimate as a viewer/listener’s opinion shouldn’t affect our own perceptions.

He continued to go down the Bieber path and justified his anger against the artist for him not being involved in the actual production of his records but taking all the acclaim. Mentioning that they’re just riding on the “EDM” wave, he feels that Bieber’s latest record is rather Skrillex‘s album or the producers involved in it. Joel also expressed his opinions about the OWSLA boss and tagged him as a tool for someone else and allowing guys from other genres to take more credit and fame than they deserve. Also hitting a crucial topic about the credibility as an artist, he discarded Justin’s involvement in hit tracks like “Where Are U Now” amongst many others.

“It’s not that I have a problem with dubstep, or Skrillex, or those guys that do things. It’s– I have a problem that they enable themselves, and they put themselves in these positions to be a part of bullshit. Who aspires to be a part of bullshit? It fucking blows my mind…That’s just my opinion man, and that’s why I personally get upset about it, I’m not saying that’s why everyone should get upset about it, that’s just me…”

And to compile it all off, he expressed why he can’t put all of his justification on Twitter or his rants as a whole.

“That’s the thing I hate about Twitter; you have to condense that whole 20-minute speech I probably just gave you and you got to type it out in 140 characters and what it actually ends up translated as is, “this sucks, you suck.” Then you’re like ‘well fuck man, I wish I could elaborate on that without looking like a fucking crybaby over a fucking series of a billion fucking tweets…”

So what can we conclude from this 7 minute long rant/speech? Undoubtedly, Joel always has a backbone to his comments and rants. And as far as the legitimacy of the records of Justin Bieber and Skrillex or other producers are concerned, we will leave it to your own interpretation about the same. Lastly, Twitter character limits do need to go away. Check out Joel’s explosive speech below and decide for yourself whether’s he right or not.
