Earlier this year, teenage sensation Martin Garrix uploaded a long post on his official Facebook page expressing his displeasure with Spinnin’ Records and announced his unceremonious departure from the label due to issues with ownership rights to his tracks. He has now decided to level up and sue his ex-manager for damages.

Garrix claims that he was misled by his former manager Eelko van Kooten into transferring ownership rights of his tracks to Spinnin’ Records. There have been no further comments from both parties. Since his exeunt from Spinnin’ Records, the Dutch wonder kid has released a couple of free tracks on his official website, marking a diversion from big room house and dabbling into more progressive sounds.
