Sunburn on the Road to Goa tour kicks off next week and the hype has just been growing more and more ever since the entire lineup was announced. With acts like DJ Snake, Chuckie gracing the stage along with acts such as R3hab and Matisse & Sadko amongst many others, Sunburn is surely giving fans a glimpse of what Sunburn Goa will look like. Not just limited to international acts, the event will feature a stellar lineup of talented Indian artists who will add their own brand of music to the experience.
Joshi
Rishabh Joshi aka Joshi is one of the most talented Indian DJ/producers to have surfaced. Known for his quality productions and eclectic performances, he is buzzing all around the music circuit. His productions range from progressive trance to deep house. Being the first to feature on the legendary radio show Group Therapy, receiving support from several other industry stalwarts such as Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten and Aly & Fila to name a few and being the first Indian artist to be signed to Armada Deep, he surely has made a name for himself in the dance music scene. Make sure to catch Joshi spin a weave with his stunning set and leave you spellbound.
MojoJojo!
The quirky moustache-wearing guy Akshay Johar better known by his stage name MojoJojo! is surely making a mark and has gained considerable popularity among listeners. He has joined fellow artists Nucleya, Sound Avatar and Su Real to lead the bass music movement in India which wasn’t strictly as popular as before in India. Combining several different sub genres like trap, drum ‘n’ bass, dubstep, moombahton, glitch hop and future bass and infusing various cultural sounds, he has created his own Global Bass genre. Coming fresh off his debut album “Shots Fired“, be prepared for a bass heavy set to blow you off.
Sartek
Sarthack Sardana aka Sartek, the New Delhi native is one of India’s most accomplished dance music producers whose rapid rise to fame has been nothing short of extraordinary. He has amassed support from heavyweights such as David Guetta, DJ Chuckie and Hardwell to name a few. Signed to Gregori Klosman‘s GURU imprint and having already creating numerous electro house bangers with his latest one being “Back To The Feature” which also featured in Hardwell’s set at Beyond Wonderland goes on to show the popularity he has achieved. Make sure to catch his high octane set as he keeps throwing bangers one after another.
(S)haan
(S)haan or Shaan Singh, the 20 year old who burst onto the scene 5 years ago by performing at Sunburn Goa had grabbed many eyeballs and he hasn’t looked backed since. At a mere age of 20, he has attained groundbreaking success and has headlined some of the biggest festivals, notably being the first Indian to play Tomorrowland for two back to back years, main stage at Storm Music Festival, closing out the legendary BOX Stage at the Ministry of Sound club in London and being a resident at Sunburn, he has proved himself to be one of the finest Indian talents. His progressive house and electro productions are uplifting and melodic which leaves the audience wanting for more. Having already released his highly acclaimed single “Light Up The World” feat. Laura Evans a few months ago, he recently released his new single “Fire” under the legendary Armada Music label’s imprint Armada Captivating. Also due to play mainstage at D.W.P- Djakarta Warehouse Project in December alongside some of the biggest electronic acts such as Jack U, Armin Van Buuren and many more, make sure to catch (S)haan deliver an epic set full of crazy energy.
DJ Sa
DJ Sa, the Mumbai based DJ who was voted ‘India’s best Hip-Hop DJ’ at the inaugural Vh1 MyFavDJ Awards is taking hip-hop music to a whole new level in India. After DJing for over 10 years, he has become a force to be reckoned with. He has opened for Chamillionaire, Akon, Sean Kingston and Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion, just to name a few and his influences range from hip-hop, reggae and dancehall to trap and dubstep. Known for his high energy bass thumping sets, he sure knows how to throw down a party. If you’re a serious bass head he is the one to look out for.
