The Spanish DJ & Producer prodigy, Ramiro Lopez belongs to a class of musicians who have set illustrations for many to follow. Without any doubt, he has taken the Techno game head on with a sound that has plenty of groove and style clearly reflecting his stimulating outlook on the electronic music scene. Having an astounding love for jazz music for which he is much renowned in fact, Ramiro Lopez is all about his own style.
As the young export from the much admired label Suara has kicked-off his 5-city India tour with Unmute Agency, we bring you his Top 5 #Bangin Tracks that you must listen before experiencing him live.
1,2,3….FIRE
Having a brilliant history with his label already, this collaboration of Ramiro with Coyu was certainly a much anticipated release for fans and still remains one of their best productions so far. With a techier and tribal flavour, the massive groove along the catchy vocal in the track sure-fire will captivate you.
SPIRIT
Raw kicks, powerful bassline, sharp melodic synths and glimmering vocals through the whole cut, that’s what ‘Spirit’ is; a perfect dance floor bomber. Released last year as a part of his ‘Tuna Ice Cream’ EP, this is Ramiro Lopez’s absolute powerful production and we just can’t wait to hear this live.
INFINITA
A sick Tech House number, ‘Infinita’ needs no description as it’s one of the hottest collabs of Lopez with our very own techno flag bearer Arjun Vagale. Hot off their ‘Sleaze’ EP, ‘Infinita’ has seen support from the likes of Hot Since 82, Nick Curly, 2000 And One, Karotte and Sam Paganini to name a few. With both of their signature styles infused in one masterpiece, it comes off as a steamroller flattening all that would come in between. A track so apt to be dropped right in the middle of a midnight set, ‘Infinita’ is a remarkable release.
FINE
Quite a fresh release from the house of kittens, ‘Fine’ marks the recent return of Ramiro Lopez on Suara label. Released as a part of his ‘Chunky Cattish’ EP, ‘Fine’ encompasses a distinctive, chunky and techy groove. A massive trailing vocal sample builds the energy until in no time an even more destructive main part rolls in. Definitely one that’ll get your hands up in the air!
EXPRESSION
The freshest from the hit stock of Ramiro Lopez is the techno monster ‘Expression’. Released on the Data Transmission label, ‘Expression’ nails it down right from the start with thumping bass kicks and echoing trippy background vocals. Perfect to kill the heatwave this season, we can’t wait to release ours as we really hope to hear it in his sets this time.
