He even wrote a very detailed article on Tumblr about how how he feels. I feel he means to protect our EDM scene from further criticisms from the other musicians and posted a link which everybody should check out. Well, because he is not wrong.

Deadmau5 himself lives up to his word and always delivers a mind-blowing and well produced real live-show, clearly wanting to set an example to the other headliners. Porter Robinson is also an inspiration when it comes to live shows.
He also made it clear that he means all this for “music fest acts”:
