After a soothing summertime release, ‘Roses‘, NYC production duo The Chainsmokers released another brand new single last week called ‘Waterbed’, which features an indie American duo who also happen to be called Waterbed, continuing the tradition after ‘Roses‘. The duo continues to blend the expectations of the crowd, giving us the true taste of the capabilities of the producer duo.

The new single inspires the concept of a calming journey with tempting guitar phrases and thick arpeggiated melodies that ride along an upbeat groove as the vocals “Make your ass shake like a waterbed” repeats throughout the track. “Waterbed” features vocal effects and excellence with noise that create a wet sound, living up to the name. As the duo describes the track, “it’s like those m83 songs you wish dropped after those huge builds.”
