Kickstarting his career into music as the drummer in a band called Shabira back home in Israel, Borgore has only ever worked his way up. Over a short span of time, he has successfully tested all boundaries of dubstep, trap, bass music and now flaunts off his very own genre namely, Gorestep. His very own label, ‘Buygore’ is a cherry on top.
Known for bringing out the wild side with his beats that resonate influences from rock and heavy metal and of course the ‘famous’ act of spraying champagne among audience in his gigs, Borgore can instantly dominate the atmosphere. The heavy bass along with lyrics that are just perfect to get the party started give an identity to his music. In 2009, Borgore spun Britney Spears’, ‘Womanizer’ into a massive dubstep hit.
His single, ‘Decisions’ created buzz all over in 2012 thanks to Miley Cyrus being the voice behind the backup vocals. That very year, entire music industry witnessed Borgore dominate the realm of dubstep with smashing remixes of tracks by M.I.A, LMFAO, Dev and Cedric Gervais one after another. Having reworked tracks by legendary band Metallica and Waka Flocka Flame in 2013, Borgore released his very own single, ‘Incredible’ via Spinnin’ Records through which he paved his way towards trap and house genre. His debut album, #NEWGOREORDER released through Dim Mak Records and was soon followed by ‘The Buygore Album’ which he released through his own label and with which he kicked off his 2015. Remixing Dillon Francis & KSHMR’s single ‘Clouds’ was another superb remix he added to his ever growing list of remixes.
Craziest stage acts coupled with Borgore’s persistent need to please his audience by trying his hand at different genres has got us all excited about his upcoming India tour! Mumbai (29th May) and Delhi (30th May) will be welcoming Borgore and all the unforgettable acts his gig is expected to offer.
