In another instance of Soundcloud taking down music from artists, the music hosting website has removed Martin Garrix‘s collaboration with Usher ‘Don’t Look Down‘. This news comes straight one week after the website started taking down music from signed onto Sony Music after negotiaitions between the two fell through, and Soundcloud removed music from artists such as Adele, Miguel and Kelly Clarkson, amongst others.
Though, if you’re wondering whether why Garrix’s ‘Don’t Look Down‘ was taken down, here’s why. The single was licensed on RCA Records, which is a division of Sony Music Entertainment. Martin Garrix took to Twitter voice his displeasure regarding the whole saga.
. @soundcloud why do you keep removing my own tracks from my soundcloud? not very nice

Martin Garrix isn’t the only one to have suffered from the battle between Soundcloud and record labels, with Knife Party having 5 of their tracks removed from the site due to copyright reasons.
