Mightyfools

5 Reasons You Should Be At Plus91 Holi Reloaded 2015
From performing at the pre-party in 2014 to headlining the ‘Plus 91 Holi Reloaded‘ festival this 2015, Mightyfools are all set to colour the crowd with their music. Bringing out their water guns in Mumbai on 6th march, this Dutch electro house duo is ready to get raving with all you party animals out there.

Andy Samin and Jelle Keizer might have gotten a bit late in blending their music styles together but thanks to them bumping into each other in an almost empty club in Netherlands, they seemed to have made it in time to save the day! With highly energetic sets, excessively successful EP and airtime on the radio, this duo has contributed quite a lot to the EDM world in a short period of time. Their first EP release in 2009, ‘Partyjunkies’ created so much buzz all across the globe that it landed a position in charts of all successful dance music portals and gave them a rather headstrong start in the game which was also evident through their performance at major festivals in Holland such as ‘Dance Valley’ and ‘Mystery Land’. Their collaboration with Guerilla Speakerz namely, ‘Amsterdam’ released in 2010 and was even bigger success then their EP and it earned the name of being one of the biggest party anthems of that time.

Touring Australia and heading straight for the stage for Dim Make Tuesday Nights in Hollywood, the crowd raved to their energy and eccentricity. Having remixed tracks by the likes of Crookers, Tommie Sunshine and the ever so famous, Fall Out Boys, this duo are an unstoppable force. Their remix of ‘Milkshake’ by Kelis still never fails to ignite the much needed spark on the dance floor. With their tracks being released via Potty Mouth Records, Ultra Records, Venga Digital and many more, Mightyfools seemed to have it all under control.

This duo released, ‘Footrocker’ via Hardwell’s Revealed Records in 2014 and this ‘larger-than-life’ anthem couldn’t have been received in a better manner by all the party freaks. This progressive house track showcased Mightyfools’s versatility. Their single, ‘Put Em Up’ released through Spinnin’ Records exhibited all the energy that Mightyfools are known for. Rework of Britney Spear’s, ‘Work B’ goes to show that this duo has only gotten bigger and better with time. With ‘Shaolin’ already released via Calvin Harris’s Fly Eye Records, these ‘fools’ have strengthened their relationship with Fly Eye all thanks to their latest release, ‘Shots Fired’

With their energetic set speaking more than enough for their awesome DJ-ing skills, Mightyfools have it all to make you gaga over them. Allow them to be foolish this Holi.

Estiva

5 Reasons You Should Be At Plus91 Holi Reloaded 2015

Dutch DJ/Producer Steven Baan also known as Estiva by his stage name, as one of the leading artists of Tritonal’s Enhanced Music has made a permanent spot for himself in the global Electronic Dance Music industry. With a much adored, special approach and a loyal fan base, Estiva’s melodic, poignant and cheerful style has lead himself to a consistent support from the industry’s prevalent influences, including; Tiësto, Nicky Romero, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Dash Berlin to name a few.

Through some of the most vibrant and energy filled progressive house and trance releases, Estiva has made it to the top 10 successes on Beatport charts time and again and has garnered remixes for the likes of Mat Zo, Tritonal and Daniel Kandi. His live sets are dynamic and always bursting with energy and there is no doubt that the energy has drastically increased with time. If one is to focus on a benchmark of formation for Estiva, his seminal releases such as ‘Wait Forever’, ‘Teddybeat’ and the more recent ‘Three Strikes EP’, would definitely be making to the top. Having established himself as an artist with a mature and intricate sound who’s able to consistently deliver eminent and forward-thinking productions, Estiva is one of those artists one would never like to miss.

Some his other recent hits include ‘Feels Right’ featuring vocalist Sarah Russell, ‘Let It Go’ and ‘Voices’ that is a collaboration with Electronica/Pop group The Spacies. As ‘Teddybeat’ by Estiva continues to be an all-time favorite for us, we were even more awestruck when we saw the original receive a mash-up treatment by Armin van Buuren with his single ‘Beautiful Life’.

Catch Mightyfools and Estiva live at Holi Reloaded on 6th March at JBVP Grounds, Mumbai.
