If there is one man who continues to amaze us with his crazy antics, it has to be Steve Aoki. Aoki is currently on the road extensively playing on his Neon Future tour. In a twisted turn of events, his show at El Paso on Feb 16 was postponed just prior to him taking the stage, because the fire department cancelled the show due to a sewage leakage at Buchanan’s and he expressed his sadness but claimed that it wasn’t worth putting everyone’s life at risk. But that did not deter him from wanting to play for his fans in El Paso. He took to twitter to try and find a venue to play a set that night itself. He also added that he would play, but only on one condition that it was a free gig and so that no person would have to pay at the door.
His search for a venue was a success as he tweeted asking fans to head to the 301 night club.
And I won't play unless it's free. So no one pays at the fucking door. Still hating poo poo 💩💩🚫

But the craziness did not seem to end there. Unfortunately, the cops decided to cut short his set at the club as he had played overtime.
Cops shut it down but it was legendary at 301. Coming back at some point for a rescheduled show. I love you guys.

He had to stop as the police was very clear that if he would continue playing, he would be arrested immediately. Aoki had no choice but to shut it down for the night but he promised his fans that he would reschedule the show at El Paso sometime soon.
He has indeed lived upto the promise he made as he very recently announced the new date for the rescheduled show at El Paso that is now set for 9 p.m. March 15 at Buchanan’s Event Center, 11540 Pellicano. Tickets from the February show will be honored on the new date.
#neonfutureexperience #4 well sort of. My sold out show at Buchanans in El Paso TX got flooded with sewage water… pic.twitter.com/vjBlKYnRW0

It truly is very nice when an artist goes out of his way to make his fans happy. Maybe the sewage situation didn’t stink up the entire night because Aoki ended up turning a night in the dumps into one hell of a crazy party. Bonus gigs are something that are really hard to come by.
Steve Aoki’s youtube channel has uploaded the behind the scenes footage for the Neon Future Experience Austin / Houston / El Paso – On the Road w/ Steve Aoki #148. Check out all the crazy from that night right now.
