Maurizio Colella or EDX as he’s known to everyone in the dance music industry has always been visionary with his special brand of deliciously melodious tunes and groovy, hypnotic basslines. He’s been championing the House sound for a while and has given us some of the best progressive and deep tunes on our music library.
He’s one of the leaders of progressive house super-group Helvetic Nerds, that also features some of progressive house’s big guns like Chris Reece, Daniel Portman, Nora En Pure, Croatia Squad, Cedric Zeyenne & Leventina
He was recently in the middle of Progression of Sound U.S. Takeover. But he still manages to belt out delicious productions and remixes, especially his most recent one being the gorgeous “Dubai Skyline” remix of Nora En Pure & Sons Of Maria nu disco hit Uruguay. More of a machine than a man, clearly, EDX manages to balance extensive touring schedules, production and dishing out of his superb podcast NoXcuses, which brilliantly echoes exactly the kind of sound this Italian wonder likes to listen to and play out at his shows.
