
Enchanted Valley Carnival is right around the corner, and the hype for the festival has been building ever since the entire lineup was announced. With acts like David Guetta and New World Punx headlining, and acts such as Aly & Fila, Borgore, Thrid Party, Solarstone, Kaiserdisco amongst many others performing, EVC promises to give its fans an experience like no other. But the buck just doesn’t stop at the international acts. There’s a plethora of homegrown acts on the lineup who are all set to enhance your EVC experience with their own unique brand of music. So here we bring you 10 homegrown acts to look out for at Enchanted Valley Carnival
Praveen Achary

Praveen Achary is no stranger to making people move & groove with his music. Be it at festivals or clubs, this man has done it all. After playing at the inaugural edition of the festival last year, Praveen Achary returns to EVC this year as well, all set to unleash his infectious brand of tech house and techno upon an eager crowd looking to dance.
Shaa’ir + Func

Perhaps the biggest duo in the independent Indian music scene, Shaa’ir + Func, consisting of the versatile Monica Dogra and the very talented Randolph Correia,are all set to return to EVC this year to enthrall fans with their stellar performance and impeccable stage presence. Having played at the prestigious Glastonbury Festival this year in June, as well as playing at NH7 Weekender, the duo are no stranger to music festivals, and are always up for a killer performance on-stage.
Browncoat

Browncoat is Nawed Khan‘s deep house and techno alias. Making his debut at the Secret Underground NikhilxKoovs Gig in August, and also opening for Mat Zo in September, Browncoat has come a long way. And now he brings his own brand of music for the first time to a festival. One act you should definitely check out.
Joshi

Rishabh Joshi aka Joshi is one of the most promising DJ/producers to have emerged from the country. Being the first Indian producer to be featured on Above & Beyond‘s radio show Group Therapy, as well as receiving support from Markus Schulz on Global DJ Broadcast, Aly & Fila, Max Graham, Myon & Shane54 amongst others, Joshi is known for his Goa based progressive and deep house.
Nucleya

Here’s one name everyone’s familiar with. Udyan Sagar aka Nucleya has been riding the success wave ever since his EP Koocha Monster gave him a deserved breakthrough, and he hasn’t looked back since. Fusing Indian elements to a bass heavy, dubstep sound has not only made him stand out from all others producers, it has also given him international recognition as well.
Sequ3l

Nakul Ambilkar, better known by his stage name Sequ3l, has been around the dance music scene in India for a couple of years and knows how to set the vibe when playing for a large crowd at festivals. Switching seamlessly from progressive house to deep house to techno, the 28 year old has received immense international recognition after his track ‘We Evolve‘ was signed by Markus Schulz to be included on the Buenos Aires ’13 compilation on Armada Records.
Qwiver

Qwiver is the techno alter-ego of Mumbai based DJ Lynston D’Souza. Starting out in 2013, Qwiver’s music style stretches from Deep House to Minimal, with Tech-House and Techno being his main genres of interest. He has also shared the console with acts like Tube & Berge, Secret Cinema and Nils Hoffmann.
Sickflip

Sickflip is the brainchild of Mumbai based DJ and producer Sarvesh Shrivastava. Ranging from bass heavy, glitch hop sounds to groovy, deeper sounds, Sickflip has managed to carve a niche for himself after having his productions released on international labels such as Rub A Duck Recordings and Plain Dope, as well as playing at festivals such as NH7 Weekender and EVC.
Madboy/Mink

Madboy/Mink is a nu-disco/electro funk act, consisting of Imaad Shah and Saba Azad. Mashing up Dirty Electro and Funk with old school Harlem swing they use Live guitar + synthesizers + soulfully destroyed vocals and vocoders to create their own brand of music. Having already played at EVC last year, the duo return again this year to satisfy all your musical cravings.
Oozeundat

Oozeundat have been around the underground scene since 2011 now. A collaborative effort between Roan Sable and Sidhant Naren, Oozeundat aim to take their audiences on a dark, groovy journey. Having opened for the likes of Arjun Vagale, Dubfire, Guy J, Anil Chawla amongst others, Oozeundat have established quite the reputation for themselves with their personalised brand of techno.
