When it comes to ambient downtempo, nothing beats legendary San Franciso outfit Tycho. Whilst Dive and Awake still remain our favourite albums of theirs to date, there isn’t much music from this band that we don’t adore. Known for their downtempo originals and uber chill remixes, they’ve graced us all with another fantastic remix of ‘Inside Out‘ by Spoon.
One of the singles from Spoon’s epic ‘They Want My Soul’, Tycho’s version is slightly pacier with bustling drums. A greater stress is paid to the reverbs of Britt Daniel’s vocals from the original. All in all, this a fantastic remix and makes it onto our perfect playlist to lay back on a lazy afternoon and groove to.
