Paris Hilton is back and this time, she’s NRJ DJ Awards’ Best Breakthrough Artist
Thought you’d seen it all, hadn’t you? You were wrong. Along with Steve Aoki, Deorro, Avicii, David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Bob Sinclar, Paris Hilton won an award at NRJ DJ Awards. We were just as baffled as you are right now, but our faith in the French radio was restored when we discovered that it is on the basis of votes accumulated that an artist is awarded. We did, however, lose our faith in humanity after the revelation. After tirades from Deadmau5, and Skrillex defending her, DJ Paris made the news for several reasons in the past few months, from claiming to be among the Top 5 DJs to earning $i million per night. While her Instagram claims she won “Female DJ Of The Year Award”, NRJ DJ Awards’ website states her as Best Breakthrough Artist and DJ Oriska as best Female DJ. Regardless, hearty congratulations, Paris!
