One of the biggest in the market, Pioneer may be selling its DJ audio business off to KKR, but it’s hardly stopping them from still being the #1 player in the game. After the introduction of a brand new DJ controller, Pioneer has revealed another brilliant innovation: Kuvo. Kuvo is an application/software that’s designed to publish real -time set lists from anywhere in the world! By linking the hardware box to the internet and CDJ’s, data is sent to the Kuvo cloud. The application then streams what tracks the DJ is mixing, track by track, as well as provides information on which DJ is playing where. From the stream, every song is available for purchase via iTunes etc. Are you relating this to Shazam? Well, Kuvo is the next level upgrade doing everything for you.
