2014 is turning out to be the break – through year for up and coming tropical house monster Kygo. This 22 year old Norwegian prodigy, has not only secured a global recording deal with Ultra/Sony Music but is due to play at the Mainstage of TomorrowWorld in place of Avicii. And yet there is more promise, the year holds for the man. He has decided to extend his North American Summer Tour and take it straight to the beautiful lands of Europe.
Kygo’s journey to international prominence involves some sick remixes of tracks by artists like Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Passenger, The Weeknd and Marvin Gaye. His soulful yet enigmatic remix of Ed Shereen’s “I See Fire” was indeed a game changer but only one of his massive hits.
The Endless Summer Tour stands true to it’s name as it is all set to cover a span of 12 European cities in November and December, and will be traversing the lands of London, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona including a bombastic stadium show at Spektrum in the Dj’s hometown Norway. The tour will also see acts like Thomas Jack, Amtrac and Anna Lunoe alongside Kygo on several different dates during the tour. It’s exciting to see the rise of Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll and we are quite sure his new material due for the end of this year will be equally explosive. Europe, mark the dates and get packing for an extended summer!
