The dub machine Flux Pavilion has struck an accord with Disney, it seems. Steele tweeted, he has been tagged by Lucasfilm and Disney to remix the theme for ‘Star Wars Rebels‘. A tie with production giants, such as these, would definitely pave a new way into mediums of mass consumption. Electronic music would be hitting a new high, altogether with Flux remixing a track for this animated series, which preceeds the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope by 5 years in its story line. It’ll be one hell of a convergence to have Star Wars cult fan following cross over with the population of EDM enthusiasts.
The interesting update from Steele tells us he will be dropping the tempo for Star Wars remix. The dub roller is going to be spinning off at 128 bpm! May the force be with him.
