The Results For “America’s Best DJ” Are In! And The Winner Is………….

It’s been little over a month since the favourites for ‘America’s Best DJ’ 2014 were announced. Finally, the results are in! Having won the coveted title in 2012, American DJ [of German descent] Markus Schulz has won this years edition as well!

THE WINNER & CHAMPION!

Trailing close behind are ‘Mad Decent’ boss ‘Diplo‘ (in at #2) & spinning maestro ‘A-Trak‘ (in at #3). The remaining DJs (in no particular order) to make the Top10 consist of sizeable names such as comic-boy fan favourite ‘Dillon Francis‘, Mega-star Sonny ‘Skrillex’ Moore, ‘Bassnectar‘, Cake-enthusiast and DIM MAK boss ‘Steve Aoki‘, ‘DJ Dan‘, ‘Colors’ hit maker ‘Tritonal‘ & seasoned veteran ‘Claude VonStroke‘.

If you’re wondering why the loveable Ryan Raddon hasn’t featured, it’s because the rules state that a DJ is not eligible to win the title in back-to-back years.

The award ceremony is to be held at ‘Marquee Nightclub’, Las Vegas, in October this year.

Having won the title again, trance legend Schulz had this to say “Receiving this news is such an incredible honour. I have never been in this industry for the sole purpose of winning awards, and my biggest accomplishment in life is having the ability to connect and entertain those who believe in me and what I do on a daily basis.” Further adding, “I’d like to thank everyone at DJ Times and Pioneer DJ for their continued support, all of the promoters who facilitate my passion in the clubs and festivals throughout North America, those who sacrifice in helping me achieve my dreams, and most of all, the fans, because without you, none of this is possible. Forever grateful for your love and support, and I look forward on our continued journey into the future.”
