This upcoming DJ’s name is one that has been on everyone’s lips lately. Artyom aka Arston hails from Grodno, Belarus and has recently made a name for himself with his wonderful original remixes and edits! This progressive house star who’s given us recent festival rompers like Star Warz and Circle Track has been producing one track after another of extremely refined quality.
Arston is on the bandwagon of those artists who try to make us feel the music. In an interview for Generate Project he said
[..] I don’t really understand music only for dancing or jumping, it’s not my thing. I always feel something in music, trying to understand authors thoughts, what he’s saying, what he’s feeling, maybe it’s love and happiness, maybe it’s fear and pain, music is a wonderful instrument to express that.
Polishing his sounds to produce the perfect track has paid off with the trademark Arston music. It was inevitable that all that hard-work would help the artist make the transition from bedroom musician to renowned international DJ/Producer. From house, trance, rock to even classical sounds, Arston may have only been a considerably short span of time into the realm of EDM by that does not stop him from taking it by storm!
I started producing when I got my first PC, it was pretty natural for me because I was always curious about this whole production thing and I started to make something, first in audio editors from the samples I got in audio files, it was super primitive and primal way to make music on PC, nowadays you have internet, youtube, torrents so you can start making music being prepared so it takes you less time to get the first results. I newer thought that I can release my music or start career in music, it was pretty surprising when I started to get good feedback on stuff I was uploading on internet, then I got my first radio-how support from Matisse & Sadko and I thought to myself – hmm, maybe I can try to release something on labels. It was the starting point for ‘Arston’.
Well he may have started from the bottom, but now he’s here! He’s already attended several major festivals in the world from Tomorrowland and Ultra to EDC and ASOT, and even premiered on radio shows ranging from BBC Radio 1 to Sirius XM. With a mouth-watering collaboration with Marcus Schossow that found its way to one of the hottest labels in EDM – Revealed Recordings, we knew from Arston‘s very debut that The Universe had something to look forward to with this Belarusian. He went on to collaborate with Sandro Silva that quickly took to the top tracks on Beatport. With support from world’s #1 DJ Hardwell, Russian Swanky Tunes, Steve Angello, Tiesto and EDX, Arston is a man who believes in the power of music. Knock yourself out with some of his best tracks below and prepare yourselves for the upcoming storm this weekend!
And that's my first proper abroad tour… In India… crazy
