We’ve already read about how deadmau5 had bid adieu to his precious Purrari (in simpler terms, that’s what he’s christianed his Nyan Cat wrapped Ferrari 458 Spyder). However no one really knew the reason behind it. Recently, however, it has been brought to light, that it could have partly been because of a cease-and-desist order from Ferrari’s North American division.
I wonder if the jackass lawyer at @FerrariUSA who sent us a "cease and desist" letter over the purrari is un-butthurt now that I unwrapped.

Apparently, the Mau5’s quirky customisation of the car didn’t go too well with the Italian super-car brand, specifically the custom emblems and car mats. The Purrari had always gained attention and had been utilised for a variety of Deadmau5 escapades, including the infamous Coffee Runs and the Gumball 3000 rally as well.
Yeah it was mostly about the custom floor matts and the custom purrari badges. Whatever. It's just a normal ass 458 now. All good.

However, the Ferrari has now been stripped of it’s Nyan Cat colours and restored to it’s original look, possibly in compliance with Ferrari’s legal team or maybe it’s just because Deadmau5 got bored of it.
