Possibly one of the pioneering members responsible for starting the Indian craze in Dance Music, Nikhil Chinapa announced on his facebook page today that he & longtime collaborator, friend & fellow DJ, Rohit Barker, have launched a new music based app, called “Hubb”
According to Chinapa’s message, the app will be launching soon and well notify users of which DJ is playing where and when. Sort of like a localised version of BandsInTown. But that’s not all, it even allows artists to share music & videos amongst other things.
Here’s Chinapa’s announcement:
#ANNOUNCEMENT > @RohitBarker and I have been working on a smartphone app for the past 6 months and we’re almost ready to launch it.
The app was built to answer two questions: Who’s playing and where are they playing? India has so many amazing DJs and this app will help you discover them and the music they play.
It will also help artists share music, videos and knowledge about their craft. It’s quite simply called #HUBB
