Fame Music & Mixmag Launch World Electronic Music Contest!

Have you been dreaming of becoming a World famous DJ? Have been holed up as a Bedroom DJ & producer, waiting for the right opportunity to come knocking on your door? Well, it seems your prayers have finally been answered, as FameMusic group and Mixmag partner up to launch their unique concept – the World Electronic Music Contest! Giving one the straight opportunity to DJ at the hottest clubs in the coolest cities around the world with top prized including a world DJ tour in the biggest dance cities including Ibiza, Las Vegas and Dubai and an official release of the winning track internationally! The competition will choose its winners based on a voting system overlooked by a Professional Panel of Electronic Music experts, and all you have to do is start proceedings by submitting an original homegrown production as your entry into the competition.

The competition is a three stage process, with the first stage reducing the total number of contestants from all over the world to a talent pool of 25, selected by voters and judges. The next step is for the selected contestants to upload a unique 20 minute mixtape, which will be heard and selected by the jurors down to the top 10. In the final, the ten remaining contestants will upload a thirty second video introducing themselves and their track, before one lucky winner will be chosen on August 25! The jurors include Mixmag‘s very own Nick Stevenson, Live Nation promoter Will Blake, AM Only Agent Cody Chapman and governor to the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Robin Nixon.
