Electronic Music Trio Noisia, having spent nearly a decade in the Electronic music industry, have set the bar when it comes to their undisputed production skills. And now, the trio take things to an all new level, with a fantastic new production studio, which rivals some of the best and features some top notch infrastructure. Having owned three giant record labels, Vision, Division and Invisible Recordings, the trio took time out from their hectic schedules to dedicate the last couple of weeks for the revamping of their space to turn into any Music producer’s Wonderland. Based from Groningen, the trio started out from their home town and it was only fitting that they bought their dream studio closer to home in the city of Groningen itself!
Fresh from their super album as ‘I Am Legion‘ in collaboration with British hip hop group Foreign Beggars, the eponymous debut album reinstated their status as the supremos of Dubstep, Glitch hop and Drum & Bass. It’s no wonder that their new studio was designed architecturally, incorporating the wild sound output it was about to receive. Taking the wide space and dividing them into smaller studios, each studio is built on an advance floor system, where they have been elevated from the main structural slab via industrial springs, to prevent excessive loading. The high bass value in their music, called for complete sound insulation with an inch thick glass panes, and acoustic wooden paneling across the ceilings. It’s almost asif each studio you step into, takes you into another world! Take a look at the photos today of the construction process and some of the finished works!
