Porter Robinson’s always been on our radar for two reasons, firstly- he isn’t afraid to speak his mind and secondly, the young genius dishes out beautifully crafted dance music. Recently doing an AMA on Reddit, a question came up as to whether he’d seen EA Sports’ NHL 15 trailer, that had used Porter’s upcoming track from Worlds – “Sea Of Voices” as the soundtrack. His response was that he’d just seen it and found it pretty cool!
Personally, I watched the trailer and I felt it was quite the perfect accompaniment. With most of the video set in slow motion with high intensity graphics, “Sea Of Voices” offers an extraordinary calm with gorgeous vocals. Good for Porter, his track has probably aroused the attention of every ice hockey following individual too, can it get any better? Big ups to EA’s marketing department. Also, watch out for Worlds– it releases August 12th.
P.S – NHL 15 doesn’t look too bad either!
