The Chicago based trio of Krewella were fast recognized for their vivacious vocals and killer progressive music. Comprised of singer & songwriter sisters Jahan and Yasmine, backed by producer Kris “Rainman”, these three have gone on to achieve a variety of laurels, with a large fan following commonly referred to as the “Krew“. After their debut single “Alive” went platinum, Krewella have never looked back since, playing host to a variety of dance music festivals and high-end dance much collaborations.
Adding another dimension to their already outstanding career, Krewella have partnered up with Ministry of Sound to kick off a compilation series titled “The Future Sound Of EDM“. Fortune favours the brave, and were quite certain that this compilation’s tracklists shall explore new horizons on complex, winding paths that encapsulate the very essence of dance music.
Due for release on June 22nd, Krewella’s compilation piece spans over two CDs, exploring a fully comprehensive mix of styles and sounds, featuring everything from high tempo, upbeat house to gritty electro and drum & bass – plus some dubstep and hardstyle thrown in for good measure. With tracks and remixes from the likes of Nicky Romero, Gareth Emery, Diplo, Bassnectar, Netsky, Sub Focus, Vicetone, Designer Drugs, Mat Zo, Loadstar & of course Krewella themselves, this compilation might possibly be the soundtrack to your next grand-scale party.
