Oliver Heldens, the 19-year-old DJ gifted with a knack for producing refined deep house music, gave us the chart-topping track ‘Gecko’ a few months back. After the original gathered support from artists like Tiesto, Hardwell and Zedd, the track received a fresh new vocal rendition by the young songstress, Becky Hill.
Helden, the wunderkind from Dutchland, was picked up by Spinning Records just at the age of 17 and has come a long way since then. His hit single Gecko, which bears a strong, smooth bassline itself only gets better with Becky Hill’s vocals. The contrast created by her raw and edgy voice over the rhythmic synths takes you to the sky-high vibe as soon as the track begins. The fact that the edit was written and sung by Hill herself, gives it all the more authenticity.
Planned to be released on 22nd June by FFRR Records, the track has already been given the ‘Hottest Record in the World’ label by Zane Lowe. Check out the preview below!
