Porter Robinson talks about "Sad Machine", newest track from upcoming "Worlds" album.
One of the finest talents of dance music, revered artist Porter Robinson announced the soon to be arriving single from his largely anticipated forthcoming album Worlds. The sophomore single from this album is titled “Sad Machine” and its impending release is due on May 13th.
It is also to be noted that last week, Porter put up a post on his Facebook page, explaining why he hadn’t churned out new material or for that matter toured anywhere in a while.  Also hinting that Worlds would be a complete change of genre from his traditional hard-hitting music, he’s described his tracks best as “ambient EDM“. Also thanking his fans for allowing him the benefit of doubt to experiment with different music styles, Porter was quick to pinpoint the “boring, functional music for DJs” that has become quite the status quo of the dance music world today.
Sea of Voices is the only track from Worlds that’s been previewed  so far, and despite being devoid of a generic kick drum drop, it is one hell of a progressive journey, prodding along at its own pace, setting its own mood. Painting a pretty picture of various sounds melodically combined, we can’t help but imagine how amazing the full length album would be. You can check out Sea of Voices below.
