Adored iOS mixing App and App Store’s “App of the Year” for 2013, Traktor DJ has just tied up with sound streaming giants Mixcloud and have announced an exciting new mix contest for budding DJ’s. The newest update to Traktor DJ i.e. TRAKTOR DJ 1.4, allows you to choose a preference which directly uploads your mix to your online Mixcloud account for sharing. In light of this feature update, Native Instruments have announced that all mixes that will be uploaded via this feature on Mixcloud stand a chance to win a paid trip to Ibiza!
Native Instruments has made competition rules simple, as your mix should feature about 30 minutes of play-time and must feature atleast 6 tracks. Winners will be chosen on the criteria of mixing, track selection, and originality. The winners will be judged by acid house veteran A Guy Called Gerald and the last date for entry/upload is May 31st. So don’t think twice, get hold of your favorite app and start mixing. Upload your mix onto Mixcloud and you may stand a chance to soak in the sun-kissed shores of Ibiza!
