As names of the tracks get more and more colloquial and bizarre, keeping tide with the ever changing vocabulary of the new generation, The Chainsmokers who shot to fame with a contemporary named track ‘Selfie’ are back with a new rager. This time around, it is a remix of the track ‘Sleeping With A Friend’ by Neon Trees.
The duo shows their caliber as they strip the track of its original pop-rock feeling and combine it with a heady progressive channel. While Tyler Glenn’s lyrics (the original track’s lyricist) is re-hashed to bring about a new flavor, it is refreshing to enjoy a revamp of a new kind. ‘Sleeping With A Friend’ unique in its offering of music and title was a hit back in the days and now with this remix it is in indeed making its presence felt.
After they riled up the social media and the music fraternity with their unbelievable number ‘Selfie, this new remix does not disappoint as well.
