Possibly the world’s largest EDM festival, Tomorrowland, approach Oscar winning composer, Hans Zimmer, to compose a classical piece of music that would personify the mystical and magical aspects that the festival represents. The award winning genius, who’s already had massive motion pictures such as Pirates Of The Carribean and The Dark Knight, amongst a score of other films under his belt, is known for his humongous, larger than life, musical compositions. He recorded the original piece in Air Studios in London.  The hymn will premiere this summer and serve as the official soundtrack of Tomorrowland moving forward.

Tomorrowland is a known quantity to me“, says Hans Zimmer, “and after ten years I think they deserve something special for their anniversary. It should be culturally diverse and should somehow represent the whole world. The hymn is about bringing different cultures together. All the things that make us different are actually the things we should be celebrating.”

Hans Zimmer, got together with famous composer Lorne Balfe and electronic wizard, Junkie XL to write the epic piece of music. The anthem, combines various musical aspects, including tribal drums, from tribes all over the world. He adds, “This music cannot exist without the emotional resonance of everyone who’s there and who’s hearing it.”

The 10th anniversary of Tomorrowland is being celebrated with a double edition: held on both 18-20 July and 25-27 July. The festival that started in 2005 as a one-day event already had its first edition on foreign soil in 2013: TomorrowWorld in Chattahoochee Hills (Atlanta, Georgia). 140,000 visitors found their way to this magical site in the United States.
