One of the most magical moments we witnessed in the past month was the coming together of magicians and music makers Sharam and Dubfire as Deep Dish at their Reunion Gig at Miami’s Ice Palace Studios. Playing to a lucky crowd of 6-7000 people, the duo performed to some Dance Music’s elite as they were introduced by Legendary Radio show host, DJ and Producer Pete Tong. One of the tracks they performed was Sharam‘s solo venture with Manfred Manfred Earth Band called ‘Tripi‘, which received huge cheers and roars from the crowd. Pete Tong recently premiered the track on his Radio show with the exciting news that it will feature on Seth Troxler‘s exciting new label “Play it Say it“!
The track is a pure afterhours masterpiece, with low pitch synth grooves and a gritty bassline tying it to its enchanting buildup and magical breakdown. Things turn gloomy and dark around the quarter mark as the melody singles out into silence as hi-hats and atmospherics pick it up gently. Beautiful counter melodies filter in and make turn the track into an eerie auditory experience as cheeky claps and drumbreaks bring us back to the original bassline but with this time, assisted by groovier synthwork. Dim the lights, grab a drink and check out the preview below!
