It’s always fantastic to give back to society. Most of us may not give it a second thought, but every little bit we do counts. Keeping up the same spirit in the dance music community, Above & Beyond, Tiesto, Krewella, Alvin Risk and more are all set to perform at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland on Thursday, June 26th as part of the Thank You Festival. Organized by the Global Citizen movement in partnership with the World Childhood Foundation, the entire point of this is to raise greater awareness about the United States’ efforts to eradicate global child fatalities over the past two decades as well as highlight the need for greater support and welfare.
Tiesto also mentioned,
“Through my work with the World Childhood Foundation, I’ve learned about the millions of kids who are battling abuse and even dying from diseases that have known cures. I hope all my fans will join me in working with these amazing organizations to help these children all around the world live and become healthy and strong so they can enjoy their childhoods.”
Tickets go on sale this Friday (Apr. 11), and 100 free tickets for the event, produced by AEG Live, will be given away at Global Citizen’s website.
